Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my blog. I’m a Polish transplant living in Chicagoland. I left home (Poland) at 19 and have lived in Chicago (USA), Vienna (Austria), Chiang Mai (Thailand) and Washington D.C. (USA) before settling down (at least for now) back in Chicagoland area. I love traveling and exploring new places.

I started this blog in 2017 to document fixing up George (a 1943 Georgian home outside of Chicago), but after couple of posts life got busy.

Today I’m on a different journey. I’m starting a NO BUY year in 2022. It’s not from a place of scarcity but abundance. I’m blessed to have enough in my life (enough of everything) and want to learn how to live simpler. I will be documenting my journey to keep myself accountable.
